A Night in Bethlehem Festival
Step into the Christmas story like never before at A Night in Bethlehem, our living recreation of the ancient town where Jesus was born, bringing the pages of the Bible to life for families.
For three unforgettable days, Bethlehem comes alive in Lekki. Wander the bustling streets among more than 200 cast members: villagers, merchants, travellers and shepherds. Feel the energy of the crowded marketplace, watch Roman soldiers patrol the city, and follow the Wise Men on their journey to the stable and King Herod’s palace. Peek inside the packed Bethlehem Inn, ride camels and donkeys through the village, and then step into the heart of the festival: a spectacular 150-foot Nativity Stable, complete with live animals, where the historical moment of our Saviour's birth comes to life.
There is so much to discover. Learn to write your name in Hebrew with the Scribes, taste food inspired by the ancient world, and explore the Bethlehem Bazaar. Enjoy live music, dance and street performances, take photographs in Bible-themed settings, and join in family games with prizes to be won. Then watch the Live Nativity Parade, a breathtaking procession that tells the Christmas story from start to finish.
Christmas has become crowded with commercial traditions that can push Christ into the background. Our mission is simple: to put Christ back at the centre of Christmas, so our children know it is about far more than Santa, presents and parties.
